Interesting they don't give the thickness in their specs for either site....I guess that's the secret ingredient. The DIY wing-specific boards I've read about, people seem to be going 5-6" thick, more or less a dock float, as that volume has to come from somewhere!

I have a DIY sup foil, 6'x28x5.5", which will soon get a try with the wing. The negative, though, I went with the Kalama inspired square nose with very little nose rocker ... and for sup foiling, it has a tendency to grab on take-offs or touchdowns. I think it'll be worse winging, as I've noticed in large chop the nose can dig in while planing forward, gaining speed, but not yet up on foil. I am considering some surgery on it, shaving in some nose rocker and bit more profile in the nose ... lose a little volume but the forward movement gains should make up for it. It's a frankeboard already, really can't get any uglier.
