Looks like there's a demand for big light wind wings -- 7.5 metre V3!
Well ,for huge guys in really low wind conditions it sounds fine but consider this:
A 6m with 11.2kt will give the same lift as a 7.5m with 10kt.
You get a 1.2kt advantage, which actually may be less or none if you are not tall enough to pump the 7.5 efficiently.
And it gets worse at lower windspeeds.
For me 5m is the max i want to ride now (1.76cm/70kg) and very often i am sorry i did not risk going with the 4m.
My pumping technique still has a lot of room for improvement, mostly in coordinating the sail pumps with the board pumps and when water is choppy.
Finessing the foil pump&angle on those last strokes as the board rises a teeny bit is hard but when i randomly get it right it is like a magic trick.Same with using a chop, timing is tricky for me.
When i first heard pros claiming in interviews that they could get on foil with a 4m and 6kt i thought it was
a joke, i am nowhere near that but now i believe them :).
