Ok we've started our new club.....But it's a secret!

I'm with Boardboy. Why keep spots secret? Is it so that I don't come down and finger bang your GF or (BF) in the carpark while you are having a 'Sic Sesh'?

Not many people have secret spots unless they are way out of the way. I had a secret fishing spot once in Moreton Bay until some bloke came over and started fishing next to me. We both caught nothing but I got back to the boat ramp before him and finger banged his GF.

Why the anger? The reason why people don't want to post the name of some spots all over the net is because it gets picked up by a search and then ends up all over the net.I don't think windsurfers are the problem here. But imagine if this place suddenly has 30 surfers from Sydney show up anytime it's half way decent.Just send a direct message if you have a question and people will probably just tell you. I actually sort of knew the spot just never sailed it in condition as shows in the video but always wondered if it has potential.

Haven't you done the exact same thing with a lot of wa spots sludger??? I really don't think to many surfers from Sydney would drive to surf that wave either way.

The following weekend after that video . Another big swell came through .no wind. I was surfing at culbarra with a mate . . chatting to a local out the back he said the Jervis bay reef had 30 people out this morning ... i had a little giggle to myself ... I don't think its to secret .. maybe windsurfing it is .. until this thread ... Moral of story . If you want it to be secret don't post it on the WWW its a big place . ... Peace out ;)

Strangely the year I lived down that way I usually would sail alone unless it was blowing a NEer. Even then there were so many good days when it was rarely more than 4 people on the water.

Are you serious?? Someone actually said that to you. That's hilarious. Personally I've never found "crowds" to be to much of a problem in windsurfing. As long as there's some etiquette it's all good in the hood.

Hey Goobey.Yeah you know it man. Dont worry about Rimmer, hes cool, and usually to busy fingerbanging things in the car park to notice what im up to. You can come get to know me better real easy, no secret spots here, just ask and ill tell where we are at. Ill even help you carry your gear to the water. And Rimmer will wash it after your done.
