Still working it out with a mate, but perhaps, Mt. Martha first then later to Pt. Leo.

Just FYI, Mt. Martha has a nice new beach now. They spread the sand all over so there is a full beach from north to south(previously the north beach had most of the sand washed away). I'm interested to see if it effects the wave conditions.

Why? Why does the wind god do this to us on a Wednesday. Probably 4 days a week I could sneek in a sail but not on a Wednesday. Hope those that get to sail it make the most of it and rip for the rest of us.

Leman,
Low tide at Leo is at 2pm I think. If you are going I would suggest you really want an am or very late pm sail. Might see you there or at Mount Martha.

Same - I'm on a 38hr (40hr) week, but generally work 45ish...I told the boss that I'm happy to work extra hours for no pay (which I did previously anyways - self-employed) as long as I have flexible hours to pick up kids a couple days a week, go to school sports when they arise, the odd SES callout & do the one sport that I enjoy - windsurfing, when the wind is up. He's a family man & also keen on his sport/fitness, so understands how that small break can keep me from going nuts & more productive...it's also why I'm here at work @8pm getting files organised for tomorrow!

Great sail yesterday! A few of us went to Pt. Leo but the wind hadn't swung to the SW so we moved to Safety beach. Rigging my 4.7m it varied from slightly underpowered to 'I'm hiding under the sail, so I don't get my head ripped off by the 45+knot gust'. It wasn't very consistant, the wind only came strong in the squalls but at least they were only 10 minutes apart.

Great muscle cramping 5 hour sessions. All up great day. Hope those not working got a sail.
