it's due to get windy around two. I've just had some toast.

Is anyone else doing anything interesting?

A dude where were you yesterday?? i did not see you at the PIT

can ya make some toast for me, cause I might join ya at the pit. The wind in melbourne is as still as a dog. Looks like i might have to head to the coast again

The wind is up at the prom son, so it wont be long before ya get a sail. might see ya in a hour and a half, dude

It's 36 knots E at the prom right now

For valentines day we planted some trees, had tofu & a big soy latte for brekky, great morning.

Been racking up points in the garden...wind's comin' through now & I have a leave pass!

Need to have a dip to wash off the dirt anyways...

Bugger... im hangin to get out today but its just not happening at the top of the bay.

South channel has been building for an hour or so but its not getting up north.

Do any of you weather gurus (Andrew you out there) have any idea whether its likely to get better up at st kilda/fawkner.....

It came in at Elwood at about 3.30 today, I started with 7.0 m and changed down to 5.8, it started to fade about 6.30

I've got people round for lunch at 1pm - should be able to get out at around 4/5pm

I think (hope) we're getting a huge N-easterly in about 2hrs

...drizzly doldrums at moment, going for a drive with fam to calm the jitters.

I am still hopeful to get an hour before full dark but doubtful. Bet it howls all night then calm and by daylight.

It's coming through a bit now...but getting dark, about to feed kids & get them ready for bed, and have a huuuge case of CBFs! Pager went off an hour ago with a "weather warning reduced to minimal"...thanks for that Huey!

What are CBFs? Is that like the 'Tooheys Dry' medication I am on to cope with the lack of wind today?

Since the title of the thread is still relevant, waiting waiting... Tuesday morning doing Uni assignments and badly looking for an excuse not to do Uni assignments.

Gear in my car ready to go, just waiting for South Channel to hold above 20knots for about 30mins and I am off! Anyone else waiting or back at work? Shame daylight savings had to change back.
