I have been off injured for the past few weeks but these northerlies for Sat and Sun are making me drool.
Fingeres crossed it doesnt get downgraded.
Hey Doug call an emergency longboard day at Lysterfield to to lock this in!!!
I wasn't going to say anything. Didn't want to be the one to ginks it.
I blame Jermaldan if it is downgraded.
Gynx it?
Reality check guys....r u serious?
Nothing I could say is going to change the weather.
And whilst we are on the topic of bulls%*t superstition... there are no ghosts, easter bunny, tooth faires, santa... and Darwin got it right.
Its gonna blow cats and dogs this weekend by the looks of it, so get ya small gear ready for some action cause its time to play!!!
I haven't got gear small that I can handle in 30 knots. I have not been to Lysterfield lake before. How long are the runs there in a northerly? Is it more likely to be a few knots under what the coast areas are doing??
Thanks. I might give it a go if it gets up to 30knts here. I see the Windmap says its about 5 knts less than the bay. 800metres seems ok but not so sure about the water temp
Time to pull out the 4/3 and the extra vest.
Rye might be a better choice, at least the water temp would be more bearable, and longer runs - assess on the day, Mobi
The wind at lysterfeild only works if it is a straight northly fellas NW NE SW SE are all crappy the wind is to gusty to windsurf. The best lake to windsurf ever is hazelwood pond![]()
2 hours but you might have to ring kato and ask him if you can sail there cause he owns the pit and the pond now
kato said the pond reminds him of his hood river the gorge days he said it's the best place in the world![]()
Not trusting the forecasts anymore.
But, Megs and I are heading to Rye.
Never sailed there b4,
anyone else from IWC heading down?
