Massive tide and wind surge meant there was heaps of water in the Inlet.
Walk from carpark to water's edge was less than 25 metres!
Yes, that is a tree on a speed run.....
The pier was underwater and the wind was howling.....

I have only seen the water at that level once before. PABLO WAS GOING DONE FOR A SPIN TODAY Did he make it?
Does that mean we may have a slightly altered "speed run" when we return? Hopefully cleared out a bit?
The course looked pretty good but there will be a few new trees in the water from Pt Symth. Be careful on the first few runs

On a different note, that looks like a pretty nice spot. May have to do a trip over some time.
Hi guys, went down to Inverloch yesterday for the first time in many years. It's just as good if not better than I remember. Looking forward to spending a lot of time down there when I get a new board sorted. I'll keep an eye out for any up coming events down that way so I can have a look.

Not that quick I would imagine.... for the more speed dedicated. 26kt speed at 20-25kts of wind I think it was. Those pics are a little deceiving really as the usual run isn't that long at all. Probably 200 metres at the most. You just start to pick up speed and then have to gybe and come back..... but a lot of fun all the same.
A reluctant winner - and very modest. Great to see that the IWC is taking shape - Old Salty and Drift will have to preside over the first BBQ - snags courtesy of me via the organic butcher at Prahan Market. Pure air, pure ocean and even purer wind deserves some good snags. Well done EJMack.
