OK, so not as windy as it often gets at Goats. Suggests, possibly, that Middleton can also get a bit windier when it does happen at Goats!! If it had been a cranking 25-30 knots at Goats on Sunday, then might have given Middleton a miss in future, but by the sounds of it might be worth giving it another go!!

It also had a lot of north in it on Sunday Dave, making it very offshore gusts, so the direction was not a true Goats direction either so the direction at Middleton was probably on the Northern side of things? I was down Dru Point midday on Sunday and there was more wind there than at Goats.

Thanks Kazza, I was down at Dru Point a little later around 1pm and there was a good wind there then as well, but that had mostly dropped out by about 2pm when I was on my way down to Middleton (so was lucky to have gotten anything down there by the sounds of it)!

Hey Dave, the Dennes point obs only gave it about 12-15 on Sunday(I think) when Goats is on it can be around 27-32 (there abouts). Middleton sounds like it will definitely be worth a go when Goats is doing its thing. However, Goats wind can be very localised.

OK, still some hope for this spot then. Will try it again!!
