Captain Morgan, you're awesome, against all odds you took the trophy
I was convinced I was going to take it out..... Jez, Clare and I had some briiliant casts into the channel where really big ones were hiding. Most of Clare's casts went into the bush instead of the water , I neally knocked Jez out with my massive sinker just missing his head .
Dear Russ strutted around the pond like a peacock and didn't even get a bight
Kaleb never one to loose spent the morning down at Eaglehawk looking for tuna, gave up and arrived after the comp was over
Brett who was awarded 2nd place, shouldn't have been cos all his 4 fish were under size
Veatzy did you actually fish ....bloody good snags mate
Congrats to all the backup crew, Rebecca, Jodi, Erin, Tannia, Prue, Jordon, Rob, Artis, Wally (Captain Morgans manager) who without there support this event would not have been the world class event it turned out to be .

Thankyou everyone, especially Russ for organizing such a great event. I had a really great day.
I would also like to thank..... Mum and Dad, Jarvis Walker, Channel 7 for my red cap, Artis for his expert fishing tips, Veitz for cooking my sausage and Victorian lettuce growers for their offer of major sponsorship. Naturally i declined the offer due to my current contract with Houstons farm.
