SW, SSW, WSW are all good directions for Marawah. and W can be great fun at Greens. NWand N are crap. NE, ENE can be ok but gusty and very swell dependant. Jez with SW, WSW there are no better options than heading to Marawah. This post is for Marawah...... there is no other option
Looks like an almost perfect 5 day forecast for Marrawah. Unfortunately I'll be on the east coast where it's also looking good. Friendly Beaches on fri will be NE 20-25knts and the bar-way at Swanwick should be the go if the South Westerlies eventuate. ENJOY!!.
Geez the forecast has changed. Now Mon/Tues look mirror calm. All the fronts seem to be going through at night.....but who knows it's only Wednesday, things could change all over again before then.
Well who would believe.....the forecast has changed yet again!! Now Monday is looking good, hopefully BLH, haven't had a good sail there yet, last time it was blowing 50 knots!!
Monday is looking exceptional for BOL gotta hope the forecast behaves itself Just spoke to Nick he's coming over Friday looks spot on for Greens but I can't make it til Saturday
Monday looks Friggin awesome I'm going to get to Marawah Sunday by 4pm for a jumping session at Greens Anyone that can waterstart can sail Back of Lighthouse so dont be put off, you can even slalom sail there if you want to.
Dont worry Damo! Brett has now run out of tents, including the ones Houston bought up to replace his trashed tent from Friday night. Brett and Tania sleeping in front of Hilux P.S. we're up her wavesailing, what are you doing????
Hey Damo - with those sailmaking skills of yours I am sure you'd be able to fix Bretts tents. Although perhaps you should re-cut them for him. A bit less luff round perhaps for less power ? Also rig them with a bit more downhaul and outhaul
Anyway, sound like conditions are awesome up there. Us dedicated couch surfers are looking forward to the photos !
