No one ever has a brilliant sail at Cremorne!
Rule: When the wind is forecast to have Easterly in it, then go to Goats in the afternoon. If there is no swell then you should fk off to Marion!

I'm considering Hermitage, is anyone interested?
Marion has no water and would be a walk over to the beach job today. But if noone is keen for Hermitage I'll head to Marion.

I reckon I'll head that way 2.
Shame about the low tide.

Anyone with a weather report? Wally reckons there is no wind.

Rigged up my slalom gear to do a bit of GPSing out Lauderdale again. Guess what....while sail was sitting on my lawn all rigged up ready go, the mast broke yet again, same place. So took out the b & j gear.

I would be pissed off Kazz, sorry for you with two in two weeks !!
Expensive thing with race masts so dear, especially when manufactures recommend their own masts so can,t change brands.

Are other brands breaking in Race gear??? I dont know as other race brands are not on the water in Southern Tas.?
Or is this just to be be expected at the top end of race gear?

I think it is a real shame, I think we all know it's one brand. But I am sure they will sort it out soon if they have not allready.

Best thing is I am sure they will look after you Kazza, as they have in every case that I am aware of.

Yes Russ they are looking after me very well, most company's do anyway don't they. Never had a problem with Sailworks race masts back in the old days but I don't think there was so much downhaul pressure on the sails back then, I could downhaul with just my arms. These days there's no way I could downhaul a race sail without a winch, imagine the pressure going on in the mast.
I think they are working throughly to rectify the prob.
So yeah buzz I'm going for the Overdrives so then I've got back up masts then I'll be different to "ewe's guys"
