High tide is around 6pm I think. I am going to give Marion a miss tide wise. Easty I am thinking either Cremorne (not the pond) or 5 Mile.

Yeah, late arvo sail at 5 mile, kids can have a play in the water, then a BBQ and beer or two - might be a plan. See what eventuates.

Friday arvo Dorans! Ties in well with Friday night commitee meetings
Maybe Hermitage Sat or Sun!
OR...Sat. Off Cremorne, sail upwind to Slopen Is or further to Dunally and then do a 1 hour in Frederick Henry down to Storm Bay/ Betsy Island landing at Goats, maybe!

All sounds pretty good..................let's start with afternoon tea and scones at Doran's Fri arvo and if we can be sensible, mature, intelligent for just a minute we could work out a plan.............nah that sounds too f$%^%$ hard

I had an awesome sail in a NE off Cremorne Beach about a year ago. Went over to Slopen Main and back a few times. Did around 175km in 5 hours

I would be far more comfortable sailing to Slopen and back with a buddy. Last time I did it the wind died close to the island and I ended up dropping into a mates house at Slopen Mane. Good thing was it picked up after an hour or so. Made it back much to the panic of those who watched me disappear!!!

Cremorne is by far the better place to launch from for sailing the whole bay. It gets most of the wind. Slalom gear in that bay with over 25knots of wind is pretty wild. Earlier for Slalom, later for B&J.
When is everyone going? I'm good to go!

I'm still keen for Hermitage or Marion this arvo!!!!!
