Don't know where Severne sourced the graphics design from fir the 24/25 models, but they are awesome.
Makes you want to buy the board for the graphics alone.

Some more pics, it feels MEGA :) took it out but **** winds :(. First impression was how comfortable it felt. Speed was off by 1 knots from the Isonic, foot straps way too big. The stance is perfect. Very similar bottom shape to the Isonic, or and it's the light :) lighter than the Isonic by 100grams(123 vs 122 ) and the build quality looks great. Well done to Cedric for going after comfort not just speed.

Hey, what about the ride compared to your iSonic 73? I have the same iSonic and it rides very flat, feels almost like the board is sticking to the water.

Has anyone given the 63 a go?

I'm not sure what set up You have with your Isonic but I don't have any issues with mine. It's a racing machine.
The ride of the Mega is more comfortable/soft and less physical to ride, you don't have to be in good shape to ride it or be a Pro. It's just fun, I had 3 hour session with the Mega 73 and I felt great afterwards considering the fact my ankle and knee are f*ck#%. The board jibes really nice and it feels smaller than 122l. Using the same set up as my Isonic / Chopper and Carpenter 37 fins paired with Severne M8.
Should you consider one most definitely. Me personally I would have two the 73 and 63.

I know that appearance is irrelevant for a racing machine.
But still, what a magnificently looking board!

Interesting they are marketing it as a freerace board considering the have the Fox in the range that is very similar to the Goya Bolt. There is also a line called the Fox Pro with a turtle box.
I had thought it was developed by Cedric Bordes as a PWA board

Move your mast base back a few cm

I just had a look on Severne website www.severnesails.com/026-race/ for the info on the Mega. The board is exactly what they say. It doesn't matter if it's slalom or free race, it's all about the ride. This board provides it all and puts a smile on your face after each session. If you want to go fast you can, if you want to just cruise around you can, if you want to learn to jibe you can. Windsurfing has to be fun and this board doesn't disappoint.
The boards are registered for the PWA and Cedric is using them on the PWA.

It looks like the straps are quite inboard. Is the board easy to get on the rail? Or does it have a bottom shape that wants to be sailed flat?
