Rick, yeah there was so much wind on Sat, it blew my van over....
Des, the second set of sails were for Mike Nelson.
Mike used the 10.7 in 20+ knots in Wollongong, he said the sail was super stable and fast. He summed it up as "Fricken Awesome"
Sam P used the 12.0 yesterday in the really light NE, I'm sure he'll post some intial comments here.
I haven't used them yet because of either too much or not enough wind.
The 10.7 I rigged on Saturday had a super smooth luff pocket, deeper and slightly more forward draft, and firmer leech 2 panels above the boom before falling away nicely compared to the RSR EVO
The bottom 2 battens are now adjustable by allen key incorporated into the familar NP batten system.
First time out was in gusty light stuff which rarely shows off a sails finer point but to me the Evo 3 12.0 felt like it had all the best bits of the RS Racing's and the Evo 2's. Light and manageable like the Evo 2's with the power and drive of the RS Racing's. Sweet but the first real test may be this weekend at the State Formula's.
Sam.
