In the above pics there seem to be zips in the luff sleeve right up the top of the mast

4 cams the top 3 battens are tensioned from inside the luff sleeve(as the 2011 sails) they are just access points to the tensioners
i brought a new 2011 6.3 blade and my first impression were what a stupid idea, can anyone tell me why there there

I set my ITS battens when I first got my sails last year and haven't touched them since, stupid isn't a word I word use, innovative yes
