4 cams the top 3 battens are tensioned from inside the luff sleeve(as the 2011 sails) they are just access points to the tensioners

i brought a new 2011 6.3 blade and my first impression were what a stupid idea, can anyone tell me why there there

I set my ITS battens when I first got my sails last year and haven't touched them since, stupid isn't a word I word use, innovative yes

"The new Racing Blades introduce this year The Loft's exclusive Internal Batten Tensioner System (ITS). This new Racing Blade feature results in a lighter, smoother, more reactive and aerodynamic leech. The batten tensioners are moved forward, just behind the mast for improved rig inertia. The ITS combined with new reduced diameter carbon tubes, and the Racing Blade Pentex upper body panels results in extremely light upper rig weight for overall better performance."

gee looks small for a 8.6.....sweet looking, hanging out to get my new sails my 8.6 is getting a great workout don't want to attempt to hold it down in 30+knts though

I like the fact that the Pure Lips don't have the sensi-tip (or whatever it's called) as the sails don't roll up too well with them. May not be the same issue with big race sails.

Would like to get a quiver of the 2012 Lips (I actually really like the pink/purple) but my 2011's are in such good condition it's hard to justify it!

Not sure on the other sails in the range but the Racing Blades are still below $1,000 which represents great value
