I should have grips again in a month or so, all sizes 120/160/200. The surfshop "Locsurf" on the D?fi place has around 30 grips in stock if needed.

About the LISA harnesslines, my goal was indeed to propose something durable, on which you can replace the parts. So if you rope is dead, easy to change, same for the other parts. And the main thing was to get rid of all fabric/velcros/stitchings which are in my opinion the weaknesses of "traditionnal" lines in terms of durability, stiffness and durability of the stiffness. And it's fully homemade in my workshop in France, no chinese work here.

Tempted until you started knocking Chinese product, why do people do this? They can make stuff just as well and sometimes better than anyone else. You get what you pay for, it's not the Chinese factory's that's the problem it's manufactures not wanting to pay for quality.

I don't agree with you.. Being able to produce localy instead of in China allows a better quality control and a way better reactivity in development. I master all the steps of development and production, and this way I make exactly what I consider to be the best, and I make it the way I consider the best. I remain flexible in my designs and thus I can implement upgrades easily and always provide the best.

And I also agree with you. China factories are able to provide superb quality and leadtimes for CNC machining and a lot of products. All depends of your business model and your strategy.

Ahah good point. LISA was the beloved dog of my partner Ludo. She followed him in all his pro career in windsurfing and when we created the brand he asked me if we could name the brand LISA as she had just passed away. Could not refuse that .

BTW the LISA store is updated with 2025 lines ;) . New colors available, and the PRO lines for even more lightness and stiffness. And even lines for the WINGFOIL (shame on me developing products for it ahah . But pro riders came to me as they wanted LISA lines dedicated for wing racing, and it appeared that the first protos performed crazy good. So here it is.. But no way I'll ever call the brand LISA windfoiling )

Are the blue tubes replaceable? I'm not happy how they sit when I have them long , my harness just on the end of the plastic rather than more central in the loop. Cheers D

i think so, but would have to confirm; in the meantime nico has come out with a new 2025 version, featuring among other things (even) longer lines (and, by the looks of it, tubes), which may address your concerns:

Hi mate!

The tubes are glued together with the main plastic part, it's not supposed to be disassembled and it will surely be really hard to do it.

If you really want to change it, I would advice to cut the tube some cm below the plastic part, and to glue a new one with a sleeve. Original tube on the 2.0 lines is PU tube 10mm OD * 6.5mm ID. You can use a sleeve made of PU tube 14mm OD * 10mm ID. Cyanocrylate glue has a good bonding power on PU.

I've had a set of LISA harness lines which I've been using for almost a year now, mostly slalom foiling. Really like how easily adjustable they are out to a long length and the construction shows no signs of wear. The way the lines spring up when unhooked is great for avoiding accidental hook-ins while pumping onto the foil which had been a problem with other long lines I've used.

I wondered though, if those using them have had to adjust their technique to avoid accidental hook-ins during gybes?

I find that if I'm nicely powered and everything is going well there's no problem but if I get a bit backwinded in lighter winds and end up closer to the rig before the flip, or if I have to delay the rig flip to steady the board on the gybe exit, I quite often accidently hook back in.

I found it worse on narrower fin slalom boards, if I'd run into a lull and stepped into the board without first unhooking it would be impossible to unhook as the lines would spring up to a greater height than I could lift my harness hook.
