Not as exiting as Gestalt's shots, but here are a few from earlier before it really got ripping. There seemed to be a wind shadow over the bar when I was taking these.

Wish I'd tried to sneak my head under the lip! although I'd already snapped an extension from getting dumped earlier and the thought of another big swim was pretty daunting.

Challenging conditions but great fun. Can't believe there weren't a few broken masts in the car park afterwards. Testimony to modern gear I say.
