Can seriously vouch for Geoffrey Bay in a morning southerly! Great sail this morning- shared the water with Elliot and Ben in their kites ( plenty of room for everyone). Gorgeous clear flat water inside, lots of bump and jump conditions outside. Worth a ferry ride!

i was over sailing past 5 beach bay on saturday winds were 35 knots and riping the sea

Dang should have got out yesterday then! Hope the sailing went well..sounds a bit rough!

While the Green Team had those conditions the Ville scored 12-14kn NE..so not so rad but fun. The local Fox infestation is proving a good thing- had my 140 out which just loved the Rowes Bay lumps in the lightish wind. Awesome sessions in less than awesome conditions!

I'm not sure what happened I was deep off the wind next second I'm thinking "oh poop" I think I got lucky with the chop and the swell (coming head on) combining into a mini kicker ramp and sending me skyward

Great session nice to actually get some breeze! Took the Fox out first which was great - quick and controlled- in the lumps then experimentally changed to an old freestyle board with a free wave fin- kind of replicating the new "slalom rocker freerace/ freeride" being used by Starboard and Patrik. It was so much fun as a bump and jump option and something I hadn't previously explored. Well worth trying. Might have to start saving up for a big Ignite!

It's been windy up in Cairns Dr Cam cracked 40 knots at Green Island yesterday, and wind is making it to the beaches as well

Local news today had lifeguards reporting that they are now catching Boxies along the Townsville coast. Definitely time to suit up!

Nice early sail this morning at Far Beach with OW Jnr, on the big gear, a nice consistent 10-15 knots. Beautiful day!
