On my Navi GT-11 it states the right time in navigation mode. But when i download the files it states the time but two hours later. Does it think i am in WA :) i have checked the time zone and it is set to Sydney. Is this normal and why does this occur ??

Only 2 hours out, you're lucky mines more like 8. I thought the file time was GMT. but from what you say, doesn't sound like it. Bit of a mystery????

I think the time is really 10 hours different on East coast.

Have a look outside, if it's raining you're in Queensland
