Both myself, 77 yrs and my wife Lyn, (dec) have 20 years or so experience in windsurfing. We always sail together, mostly on Tinaroo Dam but during winter we go to coast where it is a bit warmer. We enjoyed 6 weeks in Mauii in 1991 and have travelled to Gero on 13 occasions for trips that lasted 3 months. My top speed is 28.81 knots and Lyn's is 26.64 Knots. Tinaroo wind is gusty and rarely do we enjoy consistent wind. Our maximum reach is limited to about .6 of nautical mile.
