Better late than never , it's taken this long for both my eyes to be looking in the same direction!

I did not believe everts warning about the lack of water at the end of the run and went to have a look at 30 knts .he was right! resulted in a catapulted fortunatley landing flat on my back,skimming 10m .leaving me with whiplash and one eye that just wouldn't focus.

Equipment wise I was lucky ,the only damage being a fin that looks like its had 10mm polished of the end.

I realised how lucky I had been when I started to walk out and found I was surrounded by rocks (Probably the ones Hardie encoutered earlier).
