For anyone that has a broken strap here's a novel solution to replace it, could easily be adapted as a helmet mount as well. You'll just need a 3d printer to make one, the file is here: www.thingiverse.com/thing:2998804#Print%20Settings
I had a pin stuck down in the cable clamp end. They should have never been spring loaded pins in the first place. Also, if the strap is silicone I don't see how they break if silicone is inert?
Those who have had a strap break; did it break almost flush with the gps antenna?
mikey100 said.. Same issue a couple of times. Used a few specs of this (found under the kitchen sink) on the end of half a dampened cotton bud inserted in an electric drill. Used for a few seconds on the 4 stainless steel contact points on the back of the watch... problem solved!
