Hi all,

I've recently upgraded from a Foretrex 201 to a GT31. One feature that was very handy on the Foretrex was the Countdown/Start timer, that I used a lot for Formula Racing starts.

I've looked through all the menus and manual but cant see anything about this on the GT31? Anyone know this feature is available on this unit? Or could it be a feature for a future Firmware version?

Also, I updated the firmware to V1.4(B0315T) but KA72.com says that I have Old Firmware. Is there a newer version than this one?

Count down timer in trip meter

I am running that version on both of our GT-31 s.

Since installing this firmware we have had no freeze ups and I think it would be the way to go.
Also I notice that since this version became available I have seen no reports of freeze ups on the forum.

Thanks for the responses guys. Just had a look on my device and found it. Scrolling through the menus I hadnt noticed that countdown timer option before (it has a lot of functions!) and its not mentioned in the PDF manual I have so guess its a recent but welcome addition.

Fingers crossed on the freezeup issue.
