50 knots?

whatever organization disagrees on whether kites are legit we should be thinking first of breaking 50 cuz these guys are already thinking of breaking 55kts.how i wish too the windsurfers can break that first

We have been informed by the International Sailing Federation - ISAF - that they will support a decision by the WSSRC to ratify a claim for the Outright World Sailing Speed Record by a Kite-board.

In accordance with this, the WSSRC announces the ratification of a new World Record:

About time!

An interesting oddity. Pascal Maka is not listed in the 10 sq M class between Pucher and Beale. Maybe just a clerical error?

ahh is that what it is. i thought it was because vando had to let the bottom of his board cool down after each run so that the paint doesn't burn off from lightening quick runs
