Happy to do more promotion for JP, they really seem to love their purple! Who mentioned they look better in the flesh? Well, not in the videos on my screen, oh my... :vomiting:

To paraphrase Henry Ford: They can have any colour so long as it's purple

The grip does a great job of representing an open laceration.

Isn't that AT&T's catch phrase ?. "You can have any phone color you want honey, as long as it's black purple" ?

Not bad really, having had a bic Adagio many moons ago....... back when art was a good vomit of colours over a yellow, purple background.

It's a yes for me I like purple, not to keen on orange purple together, but it wouldn't put me of the board.

I like it. Far too many board makers have graphics that look like running shoes or cordless drills. I like colour!

Getting back to the redness of Severne sails, I picked up this new Turbo Dec 22 in a very cool black which I think must have been a test-run. I have enquired about buying a new sail coming out later in the year and no blacks, just the usual all-red, which is a shame.

I have a big black Blade (6.7) and really like how it stands out. A few others at the beach have commented on liking it too. The Point 7 are deeper black for sure but still fun to see.

Now, if they only had a black HGO 9.0, now that would be sweet.

OK, I see that their wave sales come in cool anthracite designs and the Blade and S1 Pro versions come in a dark camo look which is uber-cool. Looks like they're playing conservative with the slalom biased sails and sticking to the red colour scheme.

Because the pontoon boats and cruisers that already ignore my red one would love my black one. Yesterday was tough at times.

You just made me think...a mix of dayglo orange and black. Or even green.

Like black sail/orange board or orange sail/black board. Jarring but could be a fun combo.

Good news then, more black/anthracite Severne sails coming! Black NCX in the Fox V3 video at 0:13

How good does the red look on the board! Many companies are moving away from red to green etc for numerous reasons, but on sporting equipment I like red.

I'm sailing at that same location TopcatRacing with black Blades. I wanted the reds initially, but kinda started to like the darker colours. At least there are not that many sails that looks similar and you don't need purple or pink to stand out as a brand ;)

The colour combo is sweet, the design is pretty good just needs a bit of colour on the front.
