Because the RSX is a **** compromise of a board. Somewhere between a race board and formula, and does neither well. It would be like racing at Bathurst in a Mazda CX9.
A better comparison would be racing on a V8 car with a 3 tonnes trailer attached to it.The RS:X is actually a good board and the proto tested by ISAF was at 12 kg, the production board is 19 kg...
