Possibly the longest board build know to Man but perfection is worth waiting for.

You know what happens as soon as you put a new windscreen in your car

Mr. Love,

Some years ago, I used Melborne Air and Seafreight Services at Tullamarine. The lass who helped me was Tracy (don't know if she's still there).

They provide a full service: give them the full details of the package and where it's located. They'll guide you in the paperwork required to export and import. They arrange the pickup and delivery to Melbourne, either by sea or air (they'll quote you for both methods). Upon arrival, they'll clear Customs and deliver to an address, or you can pick up from their warehouse in Tullamarine).

Hope this helps (and wouldn't it have been nice to use the new board at Dawson Ave. this arvo?).

Thanks..... I will look into it. Would have been nice to use it but would need a tad more wind than today!

That deck looks awesome. Good job wrapping that cabin around the nose and tail.

Contact these people in the UK as they have moved in the last year a 1993 Mistral Equipe CHS 1.5 and a 1992 Mistral Screamer LCS in excellent almost as new condition from the UK for me relatively cheaply by sea... so much cheaper than air but takes 8 weeks. You can wait a little longer but duty and taxes for me was nominal due to the low value of the pristine items I purchased: $200 and $50 respectively. Infact there may have been an exemption from it due being under $1000 (I think this might have changed) and there is also customs clearance fees which are nominal. The shipping cost of the LCS Screamer (slightly bigger than your board) from London to Perth was around 200 pounds sterling. Email this guy and he will contact you by phone same day:

Also refer to the board as a surfboard....shippers relate better to it.

Nice work Martin, looking good.
Not too sure about your deck grip line at the front though. What if you want to tack?

Maiden voyage today. Gusty, squally up and down stuff, messy water. It felt good, planed up well considering it is a fairly small board for my weight. Turned great and felt quite lively and loose and certainly had some speed. I think I will try it as a true thruster with bigger side fins to slow it up in the rough stuff. The design has less V than my newer designs but the concaves are deeper, felt pretty smooth.
I'm happy and going to have lots of fun on this.

Nice outline and the carbon deck looks great. I wish I could leave my carbon unpainted, but it gets too hot and sunny here to take a chance.
