Fred has machined the grooves for the bottom stringers and cut the PVC. I don't know exactly how he does the stringers so no point asking me
Rider, The parallel concave is a shape that has been around since the 80's, more recently Patrik uses it and Chris used it on his Mistral boards. I have been doing my interpretations of it for a while on my fast gear and it works great. There is a couple of things I like about it. First you have a lot of control over the concaves and can understand how the water will flow along the bottom. Even though i don't build the boards myself I am sure it makes the final finishing more accurate knowing where the edges of the concave are. The second thing is the rails. I like the fact that you can add a bit more V on the side flats and lift the rail mid board a bit higher meaning less chance of it catching in really messy water. Remember this board is more a bump and jump that a DTL wave board.
