GoPro video I did 4 years ago at Cottesloe. Strap-to-strap gybes at 1:34 and 2:10, the rest of the video is not very interesting so I suggest you skip through it.



The video is actually more useful for demonstrating what NOT to do than what to do. Back then I wasn't sliding my back hand down the boom so I was opening the sail and loosing speed. Front arm not straight enough and I am flipping the rig too late. The result is I am not planing out of the gybes. But I am at least bending my knees!

I was a bit under-powered / under-boarded on a 5.3m / 86L twin on the day - was hard work getting going.
