This is my first foil so nothing to compare to, but man that F800 wing on the 95 mast is so responsive, solid feeling at any speed, and fast!

Did you notice if the leading wing screw, and trailing stab screw, were protruding a little on the 85? They were on my 95, easy to file down, just marked protruding area with a sharpie and then put a nut in a vise and screwed in the screw then filed down marked area, screw head was still full diameter just thinner on one side. I let them know back in Jan 2019, so may not be an issue now.

Looked and, yes, rear stab screw pokes up a bit. First I've ever noticed. I'm not likely to futz with it. I've had mine for about that long, too.

I've sailed a few other foils. I could easily live with the F800 as my only wing from 7-30.

You have had it in 30 knot winds, that is very helpful information, thanks. I have had it in up to 22 so far and it felt solid. Wonder how high I can go with my 5.8 Freespeed, 22 knots felt fine.

If you need to make your own shim, Bruce P at Sailworks has a pdf he can send you, how to make a shim out of soft drink bottle plastic. He recommends the shim for the F800 on my AFS-2. I made one and have mounted it, but I honestly can't tell the difference. That's probably my insufficient skill level at work.
