Thanks for the picture, which replaces a thousand words. Yes, it does show the Streamlined hole about 1mm further from the end.
What I do know is that I MUST shave the Streamlined ends to get them to fit into my Chinook hardware. No shave, no go, the bolt won't go through.
Not sure what you think you see in the previous photo so here is another one with a rod thru the lower holes to show location. A bitten is placed on top which shows the Chinook tendon is slightly longer (3.101"), the streamlined is 2.090"
Not sure why you would use a streamlined in a Chinook universal, my experience is that the Chinook ones hold up better and as a bonus are cheaper and easier to source. Both of there were used unmodified in a streamlined universal. They have seen roughly equal use. The streamlined has small cracks eminating from both sides of one of the holes, the Chinook one has no damage. The Chinook one is also drilled more accurately with the two hols very close to 90degrees apart.
