Really good advice from others so far.
Here are my thoughts about the Naish Windsurf Foil 1150. Regarding your last post, I think, you are already on the right way.

The 2019 Naish Windsurffoil is fine. It's now more stable due to the longer fuselage (less dolphin) and can handle much more wind than the old one. It also has more speed, which is very good for advanced foilers, maybe a little bit more scary for beginners. More speed also means that your sail doesn't get overpowered as soon as with a slower foil (therefore also good for gusty conditions). I love it with my Hover and with the following advice.

A Naish Hover Board-/ Foil- setup looks like this:
Set your footstraps to your likes.
Place the foil mast directly under your backfoot.
Foil mast 2cm more forward and you'll get recognizable more lift.
4cm more is too much for me (75 kg) especially in gusty conditions, just to get a feeling for the dimensions.

Your finbox position is fixed, so if you can't get your backstrap directly over your foil mast and the backstrap is more forward, you have to put your frontstrap back or you'll need too much backfoot pressure for lifting and flying.
The mast track of the Hover is more behind than for example on a Slingshot Wizard 125 and probably also on your board. The far forward mast track also produces more downforce on the foil so I recommend to put the mast track for the sail as far back as possible to get things leveled.

Thanks likefoil... I will move everything back... that'll be the win-win....otherwise.......if need be I'm thinking of modifying my tail to accommodate straps/feet further back. Other option is to drop in another set of finboxes.

I will try set up and figure out where exactly my front fin is located between my feet positions.

Good advice already. With a slightly too rearwards foil setup myself, there's one thing I'd add. I don't wait for the foil to rise, that takes a lot of board speed and is bit dramatic. I feel more in control by pumping down on the rear foot to get flying without too much speed. Once established I can then allow the speed to rise. Also this potentially allows you to use smaller rigs, which in turn naturally helps with the gusts.

If using a non cammed sail on my setup I can sheet out and maintain control in the puffs (unlike WS), but this technique always feels like a cop out. I prefer to get weight right forward over a bent front leg and ride it out. If a really big gust is arriving that I expect to overpower my weight then I move both feet forward and head up wind to stay on the surface. If I have to do that more than a couple of times I know I need to change down. That's ok as using small rigs is half the fun.

Gusty conditions sure are tricky, but there is compensation when its possible to keep flying thru' a lot of lulls.

OK - So I have moved my front straps back about 5cm. I believe the COL on the naish wing is about 1/3 from the front which is about 26cm in front of the LE of the mast. I made a mark on my board where this point is which looks pretty sweet to me? I should be able to place my back foot anywhere behind the red line. I seem to have loads of room to play, not?

My mast position can come back about 4-5 cm as well.

There is wind to tomorrow so I am hopefully going to be able to test it tomorrow.
