But, LBs and SUPs can and do sit further out and can get the waves before a SB can. Often they sit deep because its the only way to catch the wave.

We have a spot over here where the LBs sit deep and the SBs sit closer in and a bit wider. If a LBer goes the SBs cant go. If no LBers go the wave is left for the SBs. It dosnt happen all the time like that but I have seen it happen. Generally there isnt a problem.

I can drive a Jet ski like most would dream of in the surf but Im not aloud to. Chances of me getting out of control would be slim but if i did, i'd have no way of stopping the ski cleaning everyone up[}:)]

I'd ride a LB, heck I love trimming across an unbroken wave or being a wave hog. But that's where I draw the line. I'm not gonna look like a bloody goon wearing my boardies on top of my wetty stroking a pole or flying a kite (wind sucks by the way)

See i get it easy and i think you are the one having trouble. Although you just answered your own question.
You say as true Ocean lovers / Surfers we should ride all styles Yet you say Jet skiers are nobs, so i can only assume you don't jet ski Well i will tell you the best tube ride i ever got was a full 3 second barrel on my Wave Blaster at the Alkimos, oh and with all the surfers in the water cheering

You see i get it. I surf a short board (try too) i have a stand up that i paddle around on and have a great time in, i boat, i jet ski, water ski, scuba dive, hell i even snow ski, but i won't tell someone else, they should do what i do and if they don't they have no stoke. Which to me is the theme of this thread. Actually i find it humorous but also slightly offensive that some one else should tell me what to do in the water. Then to indicate or imply that because the person advising me of less stoke somehow has more of a opinion because he is a better surfer or RIPS.

I don't take offense from anyone on a forum. To me this is entertainment, i simply think it very amusing that poeple do though
