So what about surf cams and online reports? They must make a difference with crowds??

and there is the problem, I consider surfing to be an unselfish sport. It's that attitude that causes all the problems, yeah I like to surf with fewer people if I can but if people realised that we are all out to get a few waves and not everything that comes our way then we can all have a good session.


My attitude's different to yours. I want every wave I can get. I had a session a couple of weeks ago - catch wave, run up the point, rock off, straight back into the next wave, repeat for 90 min. Still not enough. I'm out there to surf, not watch others surf. A few waves isn't enough.


Hope I never run into you Legion, I have the same attitude as you, so we would annoy each other, I don't burn or snake, just a bit of maneuvering. Having said that if I am traveling I take the scraps


The three of us would really make a crowd!
