I use this method when surfing with people who are better then me.
I let everyone go for the first and second waves of the set and when everyone is out of position I feast on the third one
Works well at Bingin

Thanks for heads up. Good plan. Cheers about the bali dude story at uluwatu, gonna keep my head in the game, that is, don't drop in on anyone - locals or not, even if they do take all the waves. Yeh scramble for the third scraps, good idea.

Been kiting for 12 years, when their used to be no more than 3 or four of us, down the whole scabs coastline, starting to get some agro now too - me included. Despite all our rage we are still just rats in a cage....

How to get waves to yaself,

works better at lineups that you are not from or when a crew paddles out at ya spot;;

I find that if you start screaming abuse at the ocean/sky /birds/fish anything but the other surfers,,wave your arms, yell, splash, just carry on like a madman,,
when the biggest closeout comes through,,take off to deep, pull in ,,all the time still doing the "madman ",,get smashed come up laughing,,,paddle back out the back

My bet is no one will drop in on you for the rest of the session,,
and the crew will be still talking about the madman hours latter,

while your back at home with a **** eatin grin on ya dial ,knowing you just got the best waves

bingin technique good

had the luck to have a arvo trip to desert point a month ago
jumped out of the boat, paddled up to the line up as a set loomed, let a couple go
then **** i was in primo position one!

paddled hard, no one inside but

bombed it!

no more sets

sad but true
always dreamed of a wave at deserts, opportunity lost and still dreaming

Many years ago when I used to regularly surf down south I was out the back with about a dozen others waiting for the sets. This guy paddles out and sits in the middle of us, next set comes and he didn't even try to get a wave and we end up in about the same spot. Next thing we know he starts pulling his wetty off, must be hot.
Nooo, he peels it right off and ****s in the water in the middle of us!

All of a sudden he had his own "personal space".

Believe me - it's not if you are in the surf with them! I saw a guy hurl his guts up... in surf that was a good size and very consistent - I was seriously worried he was going to drown. Not clever...

Gday boys , long time no see. Just thought Id drop in to say Gday .

One of the things that I find dissapointing in general these days about surfing compared to 10 years ago is that from my experience in the water most people have this thing where they think thier better than everyone else , and thier **** dont stink.

Im one of those guys who will grab a set wave then sit wide and have a chat to a stranger for 5 mins. LMAO I tried to talk to a coupla randoms at my local last week and they looked at me like I was a wierdo or something.

Generally I think its how society is going , everythings a competition . Shame really.

It wasn't even on purpose. Basically I got destroyed by a bad take off and the churning of the ocean really upset my guts. Clawed my way back onto the board and just yaked.

Good call Kearnsey
I think its about people always trying to claim
I'm a better surfer than him
Iv'e got this
Iv'e got that
Iv'e done this
Iv'e done that
Iv'e got this much money
I scored these waves
Who are you to want to talk to ME
I'm so much better than you
Unfortunately with the Digital Media the CLAIM generation is here to stay
Unfortunately we have to deal with this attitude in the line up
BTW i don't think most people would know the meaning of the words LINE UP

Was the surf a good size and consistant or was it his vomit a good size and consistant?
