Hey Crew,

I am the organiser of the paddle out and with a few other local surfers we are pushing to get this reef up and running so here is an update.
We had a motion passed in local council so the CEO has to prepare a report on the feasibility of the reef and what it will bring to the local community.
We have a meeting with local members of parliament Mr Tom French and Caitlin Collins this Friday to gain their support and backing.
We have started a local boardriders club Mullaloo Boardriders Club inc.
Albany has gained backing by both major parties so we will use that example to our advantage.

We are still pushing to get something back for the local surfing community and ensure surfers are not forgotten anymore
