Sadly i think the point is you have great trip, you go to share photos and someone with a boring old agenda red thumbs you for it. To be honest it detracts from the experience and although most would be stoked to share your shots, it takes one di-khead (who likes to hold a grudge) to spoil it. I don't get the thumbs at all. I've seen heaps of great shots recently, but sadly not on these pages..

The di-k head i was referring to was Chrispy Crunchy..He's jumped on me for defending my mates after i asked why bother red thumbing photos. Your photo, Teds photo and doggies photos at that time all had red thumbs on them. Doggie doesn't need my protection my comment was a general quote about all the photos. Chrissy once again started on his high horse about something that happened ages ago. Thats easy to see. I couldn't care less about the size of the waves being discussed. I've seen many picks from a few members that have travelled recently and as i posted, thanks to people red thumbing picks for no reason (Other than maybe a grudge they can't get over) they don't make it onto SB.

Because lets face it thats why some of us are here, to share the stoke and discuss water sports..

I dont post surfing stuff anymore. I just went for a quick 50 minute bash and i have all my watch data and picks i could share, but don't because lets face it why would anyone want to post picks to surfing forum..

JB - that board is making its way around the country - I have ridden it - SP passed it to me - 40km away - and then was sent South. Hard to call out Chrispy on that one. He has done his part well n truely. Any delays are caused by a very slow supply chain. People are busy n it's not their main priority. Bloody good board for the record.

If not well why not think a bit more before throwing stones. Chrispy set out to do a good deed and it's happening - so show some manners and if so its coming ur way at some point - enjoy it.

OK change of pace as I said in my first post and Spencer being a stand up paddleboarder forgive if I'm wrong Spencer theres a break just south of Canggu called oldmans and has some good longboard and sup waves with a much more relaxed lineup.

Actually yes i did put in financially. Does that make a difference He raised the BBG issue on a public forum. Im sure the sponsors would like to think something was still happening. It would even be nice for the moneys raised to be donated somewhere instead of sitting in limbo. If you like we can start another thread asking the questions. I even noticed recently the question of donating the money was raised but it got shut down..

As for my contribution, well i never expected it to make its way to WA but i liked the idea and supported it. Having said that over a year ago a comment was made some interim picks and video might be made available but still nothing yet. I've seen the issue raised previously by others and only ever seen chrispys neck hairs jump so never asked. But lately I'm simply over biting my tongue. You see two things really tick me of in life and the biggest are bullies and hypocrites. Wether or not in the past someone was done wrong by or not, chrispy is perpetrating the exact same thing he is calling someone out for. Thats what makes him a hypocrite in my books.

His vain threats don't bother me but his attitude has finally tipped my hat.

SO yes now i feel like throwing stones. They were thrown at me first by this twit only after i supported YOU, Mac and Doggie for getting red thumbs on your picks..

As for the thread well it got degraded when some dick decided to start red thumbing peoples surf photos..

Dolly doctor called they need the inter web back so actual 12 year old girls can bitch at each other..

You see this is the problem . Red thumbs get given to a genuine surfing post, but greens go to the guy who wants to stir trouble.. My guess is that some guys like to stir the pot so much, but simply can't take it back when they feel your being picked on
