The wave he beat Hobgood was apparently the best wave of the morning at that stage and that scored a 9.5
The wave he beat Yades was a 9.7 and was marginally better
The judges have been all over the place all year but when it counted they got it spot on
For the record I would have liked to see Kelly win another title but he lost fair and square

^ similar but was in the barrel longer and deeper on the second one, much deeper.
They ran them back to back on fuel.

Just finished reading his book. It was a little slow but man he has a story to tell and sounds like a really top bloke..Actually i admired him before reading it but now I'm just in pure ore of the guy

I bit the bullet and bought TC's book and will start that one soon..Not sure what to expect though..

Mctavishs new book is awesome too JB...particularly to see how good they had it in the early 70s!

Both Bobs books are good TC's is a great read also.

I saw it on the shelf but thought id get Mac to get me a Autographed version

Nah it was a bit a big and i still also yet to read "No time to fear" From Paul De Gelder.
