Yeah podia there's no way they were coming up the track so it was a slow bumby trip In the back of a cruiser to the main road with a good samaritan holding my legs together
Hey Poida there are some of us Ambo's who know exactly where Ders is. We had already organized to meet him at the air up/down area. If not I would have called for the helicopter.
i was a bit worried a few of you guys might have gone for a surf and left the patient in the back of the van,
Those ambo's guys were awesome maybe they need a 4x4 in some areas , stoked with the service they provide and without there help I would have lost my foot due to no circulation.
when u back in the bay i want toys, hope better soon, have you had the break plastered or did you go something more exotic?
Don't worry I'm itchin to get back,! got some kinda cast on waiting for swelling to go down hopefully they will bolt and pin it back in place tomorrow some time.
Nice work mate. The rod i had down the inside of my femur and the nuts and bolts never set it off but i did try. I even asked for it when they removed it two years later and they said no and that they send it to third world countries and reuse it . Nice. Probably for the better you cant feel anything just yet mate. Keep us updated tomorrow with your progress and get some good rest tonight. Take care. Scott

Thanks for the info Scott , I supose it's a little freaky looking at your toes when can't feel or move them ! Don't know what the go is from here but now it's in a boot with big Velcro straps

the Velcro boot is most likely a modern replacement for the ol plaster cast and gives them a chance to keep an eye on the area when necessary. Expect some muscle wastage and pale skin but you'll be back soon enough better than ever.

Thanks Stu ! I have been messing around with some other methods and also tweaking some existing ones nothing better than Self testing R&D
