i was tossing up between the Bull and the Tiger Shark models, chose the Tiger based on some great feedback. Perfect board for mushy beach breaks.

OK thanks guys I am going to look at the Tiger shark - it looks the same but a tiny bit thinner and less volume and different tail :-)

I was looking at the Bullshark but ended up finding a cheap sweet potato so can't vouch for the shape but I have 2 Annesley boards (Fun and Psycho fun models) and they are both holding up well. definitely good value for money

I had the 5'5" x 21 1/4" x 2 3/8" at 31 .7 litres Tiger shark. Not the Bull shark but very similar. It was a fun board, really fast and the rails were thinned out enough to be able to put it on rail. That was a surprise considering the shape of the thing. I got it as a replacement for my 5'5" Baked Potato which has been the most fun board I've owned. The Tiger shark is very much a refined version of the Baked but with it not being EPS and having 4 litres less foam for the length not as good in the tiny stuff which is what I really wanted it for. Really good build quality considering the price you pay for them and Nigel is a real frother so good to deal with. Wouldn't think you would be disappointed with the purchase.

the Tiger Shark is more performance. i had one until recently and loved it and my mates kept steeling it from me. Easy to get onto waves nice and early and great in smaller stuff up to 3-4ft depending on how steep then id change boards. id like to try the flying fish also a few people have said that's a fun board.
i was told the bull shark is quite loose but the tiger shark is more versatile as the rails are a bit sharper and the diamond tail wont slide out as much. Also the bullshark only comes as a qaud where as the tiger shark has the 5 fin option and i like having the option to change around a bit.

Well I did buy a Tiger Shark 6'1"x 2 3/4" x 43L for small to mid crappy fun surf conditions etc. - I have not ridden it yet but it looks real good (I hope that I will be able to duck dive it :-)

Hi all
A follow-up on my new 6'1" Tiger Shark - it is perfect for my needs and I think it appears to be a great all round small to mid size wave board - it does all that is asked of it :-)

Mmmm nice looking stick. Love the shape of mine as said b4 but the glass job is giving way already. Only had around 6 surfs on it in small waves and there is pressure shatters all over the bottom? Strange not had that happen before. But can't really complain for the price. At least it's not like a JS glassed as weak as piss AND expensive to top it off.

Ah, JS glassing. Light tap of the centre fin in my JS knocked it out today (along with the FCS plugs and surrounding foam).

I've had a monster 3 for 6 months and it has hardly a dent in it. I have a Raging Bull as well (older model) and its a bit softer but only has small heal dents in it.

really? got that second hand and its pretty good. had a few surfs in 2ft beachies and it is surprisingly good. good for those really small days. needs some effort to paddle it in though. having said that its a drop of like 3.3L for me

A mate in the industry who would know told me JS only put 1 layer of 4 ounce on all their boards (even though they say they put 2 x 4 on the deck). It's all about reducing cost of production per board and increasing $ of return. A pic of my JS below - would have to agree was like a sponge not even sure it had one layer of 4 on it - the sander probably had sanded most of the one layer of 4 off! creased in lack lustre shoulder high waves
