Did anyone else head out this arvo for an early crack at this long period swell? It was 22 seconds for most of the day and I hit a spot up that should have been firing but it was just disappointing, more like 10 seconds with the swell size on offer.

This arvo i had a look but it was ordinary at best. The swell has moved in now though as its rather noisy outside..Tempted to go have a look ATM

Know what you mean, I had to step outside to see what the deep rumbling was. Lunchtime might be extended tomorrow

Currently up here at exxie , dunes was clean as went out for a warm up surf !!! Surfed the rippy right ,left was sick but a few crew so I didn't bother them ,jagged a couple inside ones . Didn't bother with outside ,didn't feel the need for a ocean swim first surf then the swell hit a boom the joint turned into a washing machine so I bailed maybe later try and post a few pics

The reefs offshore seem to be breaking in places not seen break for years. But the beach itself is not as big as it could be and my local was not handling it that well. The
boggers seemed to be having fun

I've heard a few spots that were expected to work have been rather loverly..

For the Gero region, MidWest port buoy at the entrance to the shipping channel is a good indicator.

Had a bit of an extended lunch and took the camera down to main break today.

I don't know who the guy is who towed in but I think it's safe to say that he's best described as a hellman.
