Well what a difference a week makes and a new board
No sign of billboard asea and I surfed snapper just off the rock
solid 3 foot low tide,asea took on a freak set and got fully covered
as I was paddling back out.

I managed to show asea how wild the UFO is in some waves

Yes mac finally got his way on his home turf ,i hate to say it but when credit is due you must pay and mac lived up to his talk and threw his UFO around like a shark in a frenzy.BB round 2 watch out for the snake he's feeling hungry.

Tom and I got out about 8 - was too full and we were buggered from all the long paddling back out earlier.

going back tomorrow with the log BB around 0830.

Bugger !! I will be outta there by 6.30 I reckon. Next week will hopefully be good - tides will be perfect early morning.

Round 2 was on today with guest Lfish joining in,but we had to can it due to MR MAC not fronting up,did he want another caning or what was his story??? Any way we had a bank to ourselves and had fun waves.Lfish fitted in well ,nice bloke as well.Anytime you want to surf with us goldies your welcome Lfish.Sorry we had to rush off but a lot of wheeling and dealing was on today.

Well thanks for the invite boy's,bloody kept that one a secret,I would have joined in if someone had told me and it would have been nice to meet Lfish,oh well I know who my real friends are now

Yah great work,the guy makes a 2.5 hour round road trip for a wave and then you bugger off on him

Nice Surfing asea....had all the moves.....especially the one where he gets you into conversation then catches a wave you didn't see half way thru the chat...............great to meet all the guys.....I told 'em to ring you mac ...nice surf to..just too bad I was hopeless....OK......I gotta practise.....it seems 1 surf every 2 months insn't good enough

He did the same thing to me Lfish,starts chatting and just turns and catches the wave you didn't see coming.

Thanks Lfish,shame the other two couldn't give me that call.

Don't worry mac i got a late call up,you know 1st reserve .No good for mac today a little fullish not much punch to it so the ufo wouldn't have got off the tarmac,but i am going back tomorrow.will you be there???

Where asea LM mate ,I am so in need of some water time,what time are you thinking,its the wife's Birthday tomorrow and I cant convince her to take the day off so I may take it off for her

Hey Lfish - thanks for making the effort to come down. I would imagine you were much happier at cooly than you were out with me and tom at palmy earlier this morning. Palmy had a bit of punch in it hey - definately a good warm up for your later outing with asea (is that latin for snake ?)

Enjoyed both BB......next time I hope I can do a bit better, every muscle is complaining right now ....no matter I had a great time

Know how ya fell mate - I may have gone a bit silly at palmy this morning - just don't know when to say enough

lfish get on macs remedy guaranteed to help you have no more sore joints but the downfall is you mightn't be able to nose ride tomorrow.

LM looks like the go asea,nothing breaking at macca's atm. some guys getting some small ones at LM.Asea park at R bay,see you there at 9 bells.

Round 4 has been held in some really nice conditions,the UFO went well,I'll let asea fill in the rest.

well well,nice fun waves at LM today a tab bigger than yesterday and rides through to the beach if you picked the right ones.Macs korean friends were causing f...... havoc out there,the sooner they head south the better.Mac and his ufo were testing each other out,but to my surprise in small gutless waves mac had the ufo moving but not as good as the Dino miranda model.

One thing that I found alarming was three of ocbt's 2011 new mates were not wearing leggies and a couple lost their rides.

The surf report would have you thinking 2 foot+ of weak puss.Looking at it from the headland read the same,I paddled out and within 30 minutes things had turned to the better,asea arrived on cue and we had a great time with some bigger sets catching everyone out I was just happy to be out there and very happy with the UFO, the board felt great and has more speed than the Razar and cutties were way to easy and the feeling was great pulling off three good ones with speed to make the next section. I think this board is a dead set keeper.

After 8 weeks of crap surf, dodgy back and care for a ill family member it was great to get wet again and revisit the stoke of surfing.

Asea,calling you in and not getting into conversations is the key with this style master,he knows the mind games as I learnt last time,but truly a pleasure to surf with


Yes billboard the space ship has landed,so look out for this kook,enjoy the SUP in the recovery stage post operation,but seriously hope it all goes well and a super speedy recovery see you back in 011

mac i don't know where you got the style master from it must have been somone else,remember i have a no2 now.anyhow a good fun surf was had looking for more next week if you can make it.yes bb is out of action for a while we wish him all the best for the op and recovery.I wonder if he would like to sit up on the hill and watch us for a few hours.just give a ring bb after the op and we can arrange a trip out for you,beats sitting at home arguing with the missus.

No mate - had 3 of the best surfs of my life the last week at palmy. Ongoing knee problems and they are finally gunna fix it next month unless it gets put back again after seeing the dr this week. I'm not looking forward to 6wks outta the water cos I am just starting to surf well again.
