the swell is getting smaller. we get a bigger wave on the beachies than them on the points, and it was small this morning

Looks like Sunday Monday more swell,or if the predicted wind change, would they move to D-BAH

Just had a call, conditions are that bad a few of the pros are chasing a 9 foot hp boards.

I'm calling Saturday at D'bah.

They only have 5 actual hours of surfing in mens and womens (7 mens, 3 womens heats) to go. I reckon they will have to go to D'bah. Saturday looks like the day with a SE'er. The swell is very South so could miss Snapper.

I guess they will be checking Snapper before the sun comes up and be ready with a structure to go to D'bah if needed. Sunday and Monday are even worse with an East going Northerly.

It's not too bad to watch the finals from the top of the hill at D'bah, i've done it a few times now.
