Seriously MJ is not in form.....think he had 72 knocked off him form his last 10 overs ! He may have to start though by default given how your A team performed today - clearly none of bowlers want to play in the up coming series - 318/0 !!! Smashed. And that is at Bellrieve !!!

If MJ plays 3 tests he will perform well in one test and average in the another and poor in the 3rd. His lack of ability to put the ball in the right place on a consistent basis will allow the English batsmen to get themselves out of trouble. He makes it impossible for a side to build pressure most of the time because he is so loose. When he is on song he is good - but test match cricket requires you to sustain a reasonable level of performance for a long time - this is his failing I reckon.

So MJ is looking good for man of the match so far, performed with bat and ball. In reality he is the only fast bowler in the game, mmm maybe Harris the rest on both sides are medium pacers. Sheer pace will win out anytime.

I work with a few poms. A few of them seemed happy last week. Looking forward to seeing them tomorrow.

I've had a good feeling about the Aussies winning this series. Tests in Australia are always a bit tough for the visitors. Our pitches and conditions can be a little bit unique. Home Ground & Home Crowd advantage.

I think the Aussie players have now played enough cricket together, to generally improve their team work... Bowlers are getting the job done. Top oder batsmen still have room for improvement... But they are improving too...

Did anybody see Clarks words before he had a real go at the last batters?

Reading his lips he said 'have a go you f'en pussy' hahahah. No love lost is there? It's real passion though and so great to see. These guys really want to win, it's what characterised the success of all Aussie sport over the years.

Seemed to me like it was fading away, athletes being paid too much and molly coddled and no passion to win or love to beat the rivals. It's back and I am stoked..... Now for Swimming, Union etc. Fire UP!

Great result in the end...gotta admit I thought we were in some serious stife on day 1...Clarke and Warner have gone up in my book...good to see them getting stuck into the poms...Watson still needs to go he doesn't even look like he wants to be there....

but seriously...we gave up a game at the waca where we could have really decapitated some poms,to then play what could easily be this years most boring test because they wanted to use a drop in pitch...how stupid are we? every other country,the poms being the main offenders docter their pitches to suit themselves,yet we dont.... a big f'n PFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFT to that one

Particularly after our last surf where you were yelling at the whole pack at LM that it was quite OK to drop in on that guy with the yellow CW board.
