i have tried to keep away from this thread...you are making me look at kombi adds...and i know how much my mini used to cost me for stuff a nice type 3 would also be nice.

Rhonda has arrived , only had one drive so far , can't get the wife out of the drivers seat .
Funny how she didn't want a Kombi until Rhonda arrived .. Had the mechanic check her out he reckons she is beautiful , just like a sunrise

Maybe ceiling mounted stainless tube-section(s) bolted to the front & back lips of the popup internal framing ... in a big U shape , bit like a Mancave ceiling hanger you would have to make them removable (wingnuts etc) so that you still have headroom once the sticks were removed and the popup is extended.

Was thinking Pup maybe removable roof racks ,so I can put them on when I go for a paddle and take them off when we take the family camping .have to be fairly high though to get over the pop up section

yep that's cool then you could leave them on there as well that way
