Is that an old Hot Buttered ?The guy who used to do those sprays is Martin Worthington and he's still working. I reckon a spray like that would run into a couple of hundred bucks at least.

yes it is a HB..i allways wondered who did the spray on them thanks,
it was 6`8", i can`t remember how wide or thick...i gave it to a mate who was learning to surf and they picked it up really quick, nice and buoyant and the widest
point was forward and got onto waves easy

Couple of hundred for a spray like that !? Easily a few hundred, and I think a Worthington Spray is around a grand !

The old surf vid "Pacific Vibrations" is gold, with some great artwork from Rick Griffin. Plenty of footage of him in that vid.... New School Old School Surf DVD's have copied that "Artwork in Fast Forward" action, which John Severson brought to us in the very early 70's.

John says Rick did an awesome poster for Pacific Vibrations, got wired on a "potion" and decided it wasn't good enough, and painted it white !

It is hard to get a copy of this video, as there was disputes about royalties to some of the musical artists, and because of this, I understand it can't be put up for sale !? I might be wrong.

However, I have a copy on Video from Free to Air TV. I saw a movie title in the TV Guide called "Pacific Vibrations", and I took a long punt and set up the old VCR to timer record. Low and behold, I recorded one of the best surf videos ever created.

PS - I was only born early 70's...
PSS - I would say a Griffin Spray would set you back about two grand, if he was alive.
