I had my mates mum give me a late phone call last night...it has not been a fun time of late.
I will be there for the huge one on Wednesday for macdaddy....to make the day harder,im printing of a heap of pics of maca for some tshirts...hardest thing I have done in a while. glad you boys got down there

It was a good way to top off the morning, great vibe, party waves all round and thoughts of macca.

Today there would have been a massive turn out at the surf club for macca.

yes, im still seeing people that are sadden by macca's passing away.

the Currumbin is fully of all every type of craft under the sun and most would have known of macca.

there was a huge turn out yesterday... it was all laid back and class.
you can never say a funeral was a good day...well I could not until yesterday.

after a few tears and crew all wearing their sunnies indoors.the stories started and plenty of coldies were demolished. A amazing vibe shared with a tear here and there,but stories and memories that I will never forget.

im more teary now thinking about it than yesterday.

im pretty humbled to be apart of it all and to celebrate macdaddys life. gone way to soon,but sent out in massive style,just like the man himself.

use all of the board,use all of the rail,use all of the wave and have fun. nobody will forget that advice maca.

take care up there and I hope id don't see ya for long time yet my friend

Well said Chrispy, I'm very disappointed I had to shoot down to Melbourne and missed it. I knew it would have been as you've described it.

I also often think of little words of wisdom he passed on, 'be true to your style', 'shoulders facing the front of the board when cross stepping' etc etc............
