To be honest there was a set of blokes in sluggos against normally dressed people....it looked like a hell of a lot of fun....the paddling standard was extremely poor so we could have hauled some asse I reckon The crowd in the pub was having a jolly good laugh at / with them all and lots of passer-bys were stopping for a look as well. I have never seen that game played before but IF (and thats a big IF) I was around a bunch of 666's that were keen to play something similar I would definitely give it a crack

I can't believe I'm saying this Ted, but a game of football using those things would probably be fun.

You would really feel like you've had a workout.

I guess there's a use for them after all.

Although, I think I'd be using a soft top if I was doing it, I imagine the tackles could get a bit hard on the boards after a short time.

I also believe that you have been paddling around the northern beaches instead of working - why not take your longboard and go for a surf!!

1st thing: I am self employed and if I feel like a 666 next to Manly Wharf I do it (boardies not sluggos)
2nd thing: My first surf in nearly 20 years was very frustrating and embarrassing. Yes, it won't happen overnight but it will happen. I have no shortage of New Years resolutions and more time spent on my LB is one of them. Lose 30 kegs is top priority (thank God I've got height).
