I think there there has been an influx into the 666 room recently. Probably due to a slow green room of late. Sh1t I even ventured into the kiting room earlier - a good thread on carpark rage at Cotton Tree, Sunny Coast.

Ii had a great surf today on the splice,got talking to a few out there,one guy who lives in Sydney was on this amazing Barry Bennett single man it was nice,he told me it was his first surf in 6 years,I said mate if I owned a board like that,it would go straight on the wall a piece of art and history that was.He is moving up early new year.I also chatted to a guy I've seen around the traps for a while he was on a SDR 10 footer,plan white,he was raving about Steve as I agreed.He is an old mate of Bob Mc.I also chatted to a chick I've seen around,exchanged smiles from time to time,she and the other guys super nice people so we started calling each other into waves,great day.
The guy who was riding the SDR know about the beer garden board from Steve,he wants to be part of it.

I went to my old fav bar tonight to catch up with a few mates over from the UK....it was very pleasant..........and then all of a sudden a bunch of people in speedo's popped out in front of us and started to play a game of 666 with a ball.....looked liked fun - BUT why wear sluggo's and not boardies? Or a wettie ? I would have even preferred to have seen boardies over wetties like in kite land or victoria.....but in NSW????? Why do they do that? I guess its no wonder that people in the other room have etiquette issues when blokes from that recreational activity are wearing that sort of gear Scotty - you would have been mortified. LL - you would have been the Lionel Andrés Messi and carved it up.....their skill level left lots to be desired.

That's not a good look is it. Coming from a clubby background I always wore slugo's when I swim but I ditched them about a year ago when by then 7 year old said he just wants to wear boardies. I still feel more comfortable swimming in them but am aware they do look a but ordinary. Tony Abbott is responsible for ditching the budgie smugglers as well.
