Thanks,yep read the same in a mag recently.

Guess my question is.....

In all the time I have surfed and all the mags I have read,I can not ever remember hearing about him.Based on the story(amazing),you would have thought I would have heard or read about him.

Yep knew that(google bit) ......

I tried to find out about who was 1974/5 Qld title winner....nothing.

Why would the mags and internet do a story,yet as said in alll the time and reading never seen anything until recently.

Yep I'd heard the name two, but only as the skipper on some of the search trips.

74 qld titles were won by Rabs. Although they did have under 19 then..

1974 was a big year for Peterson, his most successful in contest results. It started with a second place finish to Wayne 'Rabbit' Bartholomew in the Queensland titles though. Peterson had a bit of a feud going with Bartholomew in those years. It started, as these things do,

Yeah I thought Lopez first to PUP, I think he did like sluggos. And the short hair to.
